Grievance Redressal

Effective 18 August 2026

If something on Jeevigo is wrong — a misleading listing, a provider behaving badly, or a concern about your personal data — this page tells you exactly how to raise it, who will handle it and how quickly you should expect a response. We publish this as required by the Information Technology Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Grievance Officer

Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST. Messages received outside those hours are picked up the next working day.

2. What you can raise

  • A listing that is inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent or unsafe.
  • A provider who behaved unlawfully, discriminated against you, or misrepresented what they offer.
  • Content on Jeevigo that infringes your copyright, trade mark or other rights.
  • Content that is obscene, defamatory, impersonates someone, or invades privacy.
  • A request about your personal data — access, correction, erasure or withdrawal of consent.
  • Anyone falsely claiming to collect payment on Jeevigo's behalf.

3. What to include

So we can act quickly, please tell us:

  • your name and a phone number or email we can reply to;
  • the listing name or page link, or a screenshot of what you are reporting;
  • what the problem is, and the date it happened;
  • if you are claiming an infringement of your rights, a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

Please do not send identity documents, bank details or payment card information — we do not need them and will not ask for them.

4. How we handle it

  • Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receiving your complaint.
  • Resolution within 15 days of receipt. If a complaint needs longer — for example because we have to contact a provider — we will tell you why and give you an expected date.
  • Unlawful content removed within 36 hours of a valid order from a court or authorised government agency, as required by law.
  • Non-consensual or impersonating content removed within 24 hours of a valid complaint.

While we investigate, we may temporarily hide a listing. If a complaint is upheld we may correct the listing, suspend it, or remove the provider from Jeevigo.

5. Data protection grievances

For requests about your personal data, see section 7 of our Privacy Policy. We will verify your identity before acting, so that nobody can request someone else's data.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

6. Disputes with a provider

Jeevigo is not a party to your agreement with a provider, so we cannot adjudicate a dispute, enforce a refund or recover a deposit for you. What we can do is take the report seriously: we will contact the provider, and remove them from Jeevigo where the complaint is substantiated. For recovery of money you may need to pursue the provider directly, including through consumer forums.
